Idea Pharma taps Astellas and Xention for new recruits

Phase II strategy consultancy Idea Pharma has appointed four new members of staff, including Astellas' Amy Wasserman and Xention's Calum Graham.

Wasserman joins Idea Pharma as director of client value (US) after more than four years at Astellas Pharma US and before that stints at Janssen-Ortho and Solvay.

Meanwhile, Graham has over 20 years' pharma experience, including two years with Xention as director of business development. Prior to that he spent six years at GlaxoSmithKline leading global studies across a wide range of therapeutic areas.

Idea Pharma has also appointed Tristan Allen as European account manager and Claire Hales as office administrator (UK).

Allen was most recently an independent marketing and business development consultant while Hales joins Idea Pharma from the steel coating industry.
