The shortlist for this year's IPA Best of Health Show has been revealed, with 33 agencies making it through to the final round.
Gold, silver and bronze awards are up for grabs at the ceremony, which recognises the best creative work in healthcare advertising and will be held in London on 29 November.
This year a new 'craft' category grouping has been introduced to better represent the best in creative disciplines within healthcare communications, with art direction, cinematography, copywriting, illustration and animation, and photography and digital now included.
A grand prize - Best in Show - will also be awarded at the IPA awards ceremony, another first for 2016.
From among the shortlisted agencies - which include Digitas Health LifeBrands, McCann Health London and Ogilvy Healthworld - the industry's top young talent will be in with a chance of winning the Pip Award, with this year's brief provided by the Elimination of Leukaemia Fund.
Lee Williams, head judge and executive creative director at Sudler & Hennessey, said: “It was a real pleasure to be involved in the judging again - and a real task selecting what to award gold, bronze and silver not to mention Best of Show!
“Fantastic that the Pip Award returns this year too which gives all the younger agency members a chance to showcase their talent!
“While our business and how we see creative work has changed immeasurably over the last 10 years, it's reassuring to see that creativity is still ultimately about having a great idea.”
