Now celebrating its twelfth year, the Best of Business Intelligence (BOBI) Awards held in London this week named Janssen its ‘Pharma Company of the Year’.
The Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical subsidiary saw off strong competition from Sanofi, who was also named runner-up in that category.
The awards, which took place at BHBIA’s annual conference on Tuesday, also saw Adelphi Research UK win the ‘Agency of the year’ award, beating rivals CompuFile Systems and HRW.
Another noteworthy winner of the night was Teva’s Chris Reynolds who, along with David Brown from QlickiT, won the ‘Excellence in Business Analytics’ award.
Janssen saw more success after its group project manager, multiple myeloma, Stephen Ireland - along with Research Partnership’s Jennifer Redfearn and Richard Head - picked up an award for ‘Best Business Impact’.
Scooping the ‘Optimising engagement’ award was Adelphi Research UK’s Joanna Thompson, Rachel Medcalf and Francesca Trewartha along with Roche Products’ Glada Soprani, Karl Wilson and Helen Joyce for their work titled ‘Making a Big Noise with the Voice of the Customer’.
The BHBIA also gave IQVIA’s Richard Gray an award for ‘Best Paper at a One-Day Training Course’ after being voted the best overall presenter at a BHBIA training course over the past 12 months.
