Laura Atkinson promoted to compliance manager at Insight Research

Fills newly created role to ensure market research agency follows best practice in legal and ethical guidelines

Laura Atkinson - Insight ResearchLaura Atkinson has been promoted to newly created role of compliance manager at Insight Research Group.

Atkinson has been at pharma marketing research agency since 2003, joining as senior language executive.

In her new role, she will ensure that Insight adheres to best practice regarding compliance in the industry, as well as making sure Insight follows legal and ethical industry and trade association guidelines, such as the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and issues specified by the Assoication of the British Pharmaceutical Indsutry (ABPI).

This is the first time Insight has had a dedicated compliance manager to handle such issues.

Jane Shirley, joint managing director at Insight said: “Insight takes ethics, good governance, guideline compliance and best research practice very seriously as a research agency.  We recognise the importance our clients place on their suppliers working to the highest standards of governance and feel we are at the forefront of the industry in creating a new role to ensure this is delivered.”
