The Lucid Group has expanded its operations with the launch of a new consultancy and appointed Duncan Ferguson (pictured above) to lead the venture.
Lucid Strategic Consultancy will provide a range of strategic consultancy services, covering areas such as early pipeline development, brand launch and mature product planning.
Ferguson, its new managing director, joins Lucid from LEO Pharma, where he spent seven years, most recently serving as its senior vice president of global commercial strategy.
Prior to that he worked at Abbott Laboratories, holding senior UK and international marketing roles.
Ferguson said: ““I’m passionate about inspiring others to make a sustainable impact with their strategy development and implementation. I have worked with Lucid for several years, and see a perfect fit for myself within this exciting company.
“I have experienced the true challenges faced by leaders and brand teams, so I know where the gaps in pharma are and what it takes to make a difference.”
Lucid said its new consultancy would offer “a new way of thinking, called momentum strategy” to generate commercial value that was developed following intensive research of some of the world’s most successful consumer brands.
