medDigital launches online advisory boards tool

Company's medBoard aims to provide simplicity and cost-effective benefits for pharma

Healthcare technology company medDigital has launched a new online advisory boards tool for pharmaceutical companies.

The London-based firm's medBoard aims to provide a simple and cost-effective way for pharma to run advisory boards.

“With its cost benefits and simple UX, medBoard is a really smart new tool for healthcare,” said medDigital's medical director Felix Jackson.

“Not only are medBoards more easy to set up and cost effective than live events, they can be completed in days rather than months, dramatically reducing the time to customer insight. And time is money for pharma.”

The tool gives companies the chance to do away with costly travel and accommodation expenses and allows participants to contribute in their own time.

“Practically, it can be difficult to physically attend in the context of a busy clinical job,” said Dr TJ Barber, research physician at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

“Digital solutions for conferencing and lecturing offer flexibility for key opinion leaders, and medBoard facilitates wider participation on expert panels, from a broader geographical catchment area if it's desirable.”
