New behavioural science comms consultancy launches

In the Wild will be led by managing director Andrew Martello

In The Wild HealthA new communications consultancy has launched with the aim of rethinking the way the pharmaceutical industry supports both patient and healthcare professionals.

In the Wild has been set up by a trio of former executives from Spoonful of Sugar, the behavioural science consultancy that picked up several awards at this year’s Communiqué Awards.

In the Wild’s managing director Andrew Martello said: “Our clients are innovators in the pharmaceutical industry who see the untapped potential of behavioural science.

“But they want to know how this thinking can generate real-world results for their product or brand. Our job is to cut through the concepts to show what behavioural science can practically achieve for patients, HCPs and medicines out there in the wild.”

Alongside Martello, In the Wild’s senior team will include operations director Sarah Dawson and creative director Ian Ray, who held similar positions at Spoonful of Sugar until recently.

While all three were still there the consultancy won two top prizes at the 2015 Communiqué awards, picking up Small Consultancy or Health Team of the Year and also Specialist Consultancy of the Year.

Brighton, UK-based consultancy In the Wild says it will focus on creating multichannel, personalised programmes for patients with chronic disease and their healthcare professionals.

To do this the agency will work with a broad network of academics and practitioners in behavioural science.
