New innovation agency – eBee

A new digital healthcare agency, eBee, has been launched

A new digital healthcare agency structured and staffed to pursue and transfer innovation from other industries into the healthcare setting has been launched.

eBee is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hive and is directed by Kate Reynolds. Kate has extensive experience across advertising, medical education, market research, PR and public affairs both agency and client side.

"People are consuming information in new ways; demanding more interaction and more relevance. And in other sectors, they're getting it," Kate explains. "Our industry, however, has been slow to adopt the innovative communication technologies that can deliver these. eBee is here to change all this. Our raison d'etre is to innovate – to do things differently, more effectively."

"We're not afraid to admit that other industries are ahead of the game when it comes to digital and cutting edge communication technologies. So, we take the unusual approach of 'borrowing' their tactics, and combining them with a solid understanding of healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers, to develop and execute digital communication strategies that work," she says.

Prior to launching, eBee spent eight months researching and developing a bank of technology solutions to problems clients commonly encounter.

Kate and her team will capitalise on extensive experience across a broad range of brands, including consumer and prescription medicines.
