New president and CSO for Takeda San Diego

Dr Keith Wilson has been named president and CSO of Takeda San Diego.

Wilson will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to Takeda San Diego, Japan-headquartered Takeda's US-based drug discovery company.

Before the promotion, Wilson served dual roles as vice-president of structural biology and vice-president of business development at Takeda. Prior to Takeda, Wilson spent 10 years with Vertex Pharmaceuticals, co-leading drug discovery programmes and significant alliance projects.

Wilson is a contributing author on more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and co-inventor of six issued US patents covering multiple drug candidates.
