Omnicom launches new DDB Health network

Will include its AgencyRx, Flashpoint, Synergy and DDB Health agencies

DDB HealthNew York-based communications giant Omnicom Health Group has launched a new healthcare agencies network, DDB Health.

DDB Health unites AgencyRx, Flashpoint Medica, Synergy and DDB Health’s Germany and Paris agencies to form an integrated, medical and healthcare cluster, with new offices in London, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco.

As part of the Omnicom Health Group, DDB Health will partner with other DDB offerings and agencies worldwide, utilising what chief executive of the group Ed Wise described as its “world class creative heritage”.

Former president of the CDM Group Josh Prince has been named as Omnicom’s chief marketing officer and head of the new network. He said: “DDB Health will stand for using creative as a force for good health.

“We have incredible, inventive healthcare people in the agencies we’re bringing together. We have a real digital-first outlook, and the work to show for it.

“We have brave clients that are innovators in their own right, making important, life-changing therapies. Together, we can solve complex problems for doctors, patients, and brands.”

Joining Prince on DDB Health’s leadership team are Jennie Fischette as president, Michael Screiber as executive creative director, and managing directors Nicole Johnson, Stefanie Dürnberger and Pascal Douek who oversee the San Francisco, Germany and Paris offices, respectively.

Additionally, Gareth Evans will head up Synergy UK while Barbara Mische will manage its US counterpart.

Prince commented: “We have a superb and diverse leadership team and I love how it aligns with DDB’s ‘Talent Has No Gender’ mission.

“Jennie and I - along with our other global leaders - are determined to make this a priority at DDB Health.”
