OPEN Health unveils restructuring

Eight of the agencies will come together under four practices

OPEN Health Communications has rebranded and restructured its offering, uniting all of its businesses under one brand.

The move sees eight of its agencies form four practices, OPEN Health Medical Communications, OPEN Health Patient and Brand Communications, OPEN Health Consulting and OPEN VIE.

OPEN Health Medical Communications, which was previously Succinct, will be headed by Rob Barker (pictured below), Succinct’s chief executive.

Meanwhile, Matt de Gruchy (pictured below), Reynolds MacKenzie leader will head up OPEN Health Patient and Brand Communications. This new offering is made up of Reynolds MacKenzie, The EarthWorks and LEC.

Previously known as Accretio, OPEN Health Consulting will be headed up by Accretio’s managing director Richard Baderin.

OPEN VIE, the company’s Value, Informatics and Evidence functions (previously known as OPEN Access Consulting, Harvey Walsh and pH Associates) will see joint managing directors Sam Oliver (below, left), Dorinda Hickey (below, right) and Sue Beecroft remain in charge of the business.

Commenting on the restructuring, David Rowley (pictured below), OPEN Health, CEO said: “I am excited to bring all our practices under one OPEN Health brand whilst continuing to ensure we have world-class expertise in the disciplines and work we deliver to our clients.”

OPEN Health now operates in seven locations across 4 continents, with around 520 employees.

“There is significant heritage and experience over many years within each business and this will continue into the four practices. Collaboration and connectivity will be a key driver for OPEN Health to drive value for our clients and also to provide an environment in which our employees can continue to thrive,” OPEN Health said in a statement.

An OPEN Health spokesperson confirmed to PMLiVE that the restructuring will allow “staff to collaborate more easily within their practices, as well as across the broader OPEN Health Group”.

The company also confirmed that clients will benefit too, allowing them to seamlessly tap into each of the practices across the OPEN Health portfolio.
