Healthcare communications agencies
Packer Forbes Communications and emotive have formed a new collaboration
that will see them provide integrated marketing services on a
project-by-project basis.
The collaboration is influenced by expected changes to the healthcare environment, and the companies' abilities to approach developments from different angles.
In a joint statement the partners pointed to the impact of the estimated 15 billion devices that will be connected to the internet by 2015, meaning any healthcare communications solution will need to utilise traditional activities alongside digital and social media channels.
This rise of digital and integrated communications has been the focus of emotive since it launched 12 years ago, while Packer Forbes is the longest standing independent healthcare consultancy in the UK.
By combining on specific projects, the companies said they were both now in a “stronger position than ever” to support clients.
Joella Webber, Packer Forbes' managing director, explained that the two agencies already have experience of working together.
“We have been working with emotive on a number of projects recently and we are delighted to announce a more formal collaboration, which enables us to quickly tap into emotive's wide knowledge and experience of delivering digital and social media strategy and programmes within the healthcare arena.”
Stephen Dunn, who
joined emotive as client services director in May, said: “We believe
this kind of relationship between agencies who each offers their own
unique set of competencies and expertise, delivers a winning combination
for clients.”
