Pharma Consulting Group acquires CSL Recruitment and Consulting

UK pharmaceutical recruitment company Pharma Consulting Group (PCG) has acquired CSL Recruitment and Consulting, expanding its presence in the pharma, biotech and CRO sectors.

The integration of Walton on Thames, UK-based firm CSL into PCG increases the latter's staffing numbers, both in permanent placements and with an additional 100 contract staff.

Richard Tupman, group CEO and founder, said: “The purchase of CSL Recruitment and Consulting Ltd is a perfect fit for the Group strategy; it has further grown our footprint in the UK and will help pave the way for our next targets which are in central Europe.”

The deal follows PCG's December 2011 acquisition of Fforde Management, a move that generated new recruitment opportunities for PCG within medical communications, medical education, advertising, PR and digital marketing.
