Roche, J&J and Novartis in hepatitis C diagnostics tie-up

Roche signs licensing agreements for Hepatitis C immunodiagnostics with J&J subsidiary Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics and Novartis

Swiss-based pharmaceutical group Roche has signed licensing agreements for Hepatitis C immunodiagnostics with J&J subsidiary Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics and Swiss-headquartered Novartis.

Roche, Ortho-Clinical and Novartis also agreed to settle all litigation related to licensed patents.

Roche will receive a worldwide royalty-bearing license under the deal, according to a Roche statement. Financial terms were not disclosed.
