Senior changes for Virgo Health and Golin health

Virgo Health's current joint-CEO Sarah Matthew has been appointed to a new role as president of the Golin Global Healthcare Practice.

She will be joined in the role, which encompasses both the Golin and Virgo health brands, by Rebecca Rhodes who's been promoted to chief creative officer.

They will be tasked with expanding the company's global footprint, which now includes additional healthcare expertise acquired via the recent formation of GolinMagic in China.

Meanwhile, Virgo has promoted Ondine Whittington to managing director. She joined the UK-based comms agency in 2006 and has overseen work for some of its biggest clients.

Fred Cook, Golin's CEO, said “This is an exciting time for the Virgo/Golin partnership as it heralds the beginning of a new chapter for our Global Healthcare Practice and I am confident that with Sarah, Rebecca and Ondine in their new roles, they will lead us to achieve our global ambitions”.

Matthew added: “We are delighted to see Ondine appointed to this critical role for Virgo. She is an exceptional practitioner, already trusted and respected by our clients and our team alike. She is exactly the right leader to take Virgo from strength to strength in this exciting new phase.”
