Signant Health joins the Association of Clinical Research Organizations

Becomes 13th company to join global coalition of research and tech companies

Signant Health

Clinical trial solutions provider Signant Health, formerly CRF Health and Bracket, has joined the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO), a global coalition of research and technology companies.

ACRO is a non-profit organisation that acts as a collective voice for the clinical research industry to regulators and policymakers, educating stakeholders and shaping policies that foster effective and safe conduct in clinical research.

The organisation supports members by elevating their positions and goals to legislators, and ensures that international regulators such as the FDA, EMA and NIH and lawmakers understand the issues clinical trial organisations are facing.

ACRO’s work has influenced some of the more recent clinical trial regulations such as the 21st Century Cures Act and EU Clinical Trial Regulation.

Signant Health is the 13th member company elected into ACRO, and joins as an eCOA, eConsent and clinical trial technology company.

“As a technology provider, Signant brings a unique perspective to ACRO, promoting collaboration across the industry to achieve our shared responsibility for advancing patient-centric clinical research,” said Mike Nolte, CEO of Signant Health.

“Aligned with our strategy and values, ACRO has prioritised conversations around patient safety, privacy, and technology’s impact on clinical trials, and we are excited to join with ACRO and its member companies to support policy and investment that ensure safe and efficient trials for patients everywhere,” he added.
