The CementBloc adds new creative leadership team

Robin Tzannes, Sharon Howard-Butler and Marc Law join the US comms agency

The CementBlocNew York-based communications agency The CementBloc has added a trio of senior creatives to its leadership team.

Robin Tzannes joins from Harrison and Star, and Sharon Howard-Butler and Marc Law both come to the firm from Saatchi & Saatchi Health Sydney.

Stephanie Berman, creative partner at The CementBloc, said: “We are thrilled to welcome our new leaders on board. We are very excited about the leadership we have in place, and intend to build on the great work we’ve done in recent years, continuing to raise the bar not only for The Bloc, but for the industry as a whole.”

Tzannes will be The CementBloc’s SVP, creative director, copy, after spending seven years at Harrison and Star, where she was SVP, creative director.

Howard-Butler and Law come to The CementBloc as SVP, creative director, copy, and VP, associate creative director, art, respectively.

Howard-Butler spent six and a half years at Saatchi & Saatchi Health Sydney and prior to that had stints with Grey Healthcare, McCann WorldGroup and CJB Advertising and Law spent more than eight years at Saatchi & Saatchi Health Sydney, most recently as its creative director, and during his career he has also spent time with MSV Advertising as its health of art and a partner.

Elizabeth Elfenbein, creative partner, said: “We’ve been building a best-in-industry team, and are looking forward to doing some really exceptional work together – work that makes a meaningful difference.”

The agency was set up by Susan Miller Viray and Rico Viray in 2000 and is also a founding member of independent global comms network Indigenus.
