Lucid CEO Dennis O'Brien* Where were you when you (company and position) when you won these awards, and where are you now?

Winning the med ed award for the first time was really special - it marked how far we had come from very humble beginnings. To win it in three successive years was unbelievable - we’ve always tried to innovate and lead the industry. this acknowledged our hard work and ambition.

We haven’t stopped, we continue to push ourselves and to improve and add value to our clients and patients.

* What has been the biggest change in healthcare communications during your time in the industry?

We’ve loved seeing how healthcare communications has evolved - from simple message delivery and awareness to pushing for change and improving patients’ lives

* What influence have these wins had on your career/company?

Firstly, and most importantly, it’s recognition for the team. We work really hard and it’s great that the team are acknowledged.

It inspires us to continue to push ourselves. Secondly, it’s great for our clients - to know they’re working with a respected team.

And finally, it’s had an impact on building awareness and a reputation for Lucid which has helped to build our client base and support our vision to improve patients’ lives globally.

* Who has had the biggest influence on your career/company?

Without doubt it’s been finding and building partnership with our clients. They trust us, we pioneer together and we celebrate together

* What do the Communiqué Awards mean to you?

The awards mean so much more than a trophy. Communiqué pushes the industry to innovate and recognizes those who push hard to continually improve.
