Scott Clark and Oliver Parsons
Two of the founders of healthcare communications firm Tonic Life Communications have set up a new marketing group comprising several specialist agencies.
Scott Clark and Oliver Parsons, who announced their decision to leave Tonic in April last year, will now lead SO What Global in order to “find and cultivate the best ideas and talent operating in a range of marketing communication sectors”.
The SO group launches with two agencies: So Active, a sports marketing consultancy focused on consumer behaviour change, and So Talented, an agency that provides both recruitment and reputation consultancy.
So Active boasts former England and British & Irish Lions scrumhalf and television personality Matt Dawson as a founding partner as it aims to support positive changes in daily habits and routines as well as important health and wellbeing decisions.
Clark said: “Matt offers a wealth of insight from his career and relationships in world of sport, as well as a keen sense of what makes a successful business. He also has a passion for helping people to improve their health and lifestyle.”
Clark and Parsons have a long mutual career in communications. Together with Moira Gitsham they founded healthcare communications agency CPR Worldwide in 1993, later selling it to Fleishman Hillard.
They then launched Tonic in 2004 and ive years later the agency was acquired by Huntsworth Health.
