Tonic Life expands into Asia

Tonic Life Communications has expanded into Asia with the launch of its Hong Kong office. Joanne Basford has been appointed managing director
Tonic Life Communications has expanded into Asia with the launch of its first Hong Kong office. Joanne Basford has been appointed managing director and will work closely with the rest of the Huntsworth network – including Grayling and Citigate, which are already established in APAC.
 
Tonic CEO, Scott Clark, said: "Tonic already has a number of international clients that have been seeking our support in Asia and by opening this office we will be well-placed to offer local insight coupled with world-class talent and campaigns."
 
"From a regional hub in Hong Kong we will drive not only regional campaigns for our clients, but will be further developing our business with additional offices in Singapore and Shanghai planned for the near future."
 
Tonic was founded in 2004 and acquired by Huntsworth Plc in 2009. It works in the areas of lifesciences (prescription medicines and devices) and lifestyle (consumer health and well-being brands) with a particular focus on where the two areas intersect. It currently has offices in London and the US, and now Hong Kong.
