Virgo Health and GolinHarris launch digital initiative

Go Digital Health team comprises healthcare communicators and digital specialists

Virgo Health and GolinHarris have collaborated on a new digital healthcare offering called Go Digital Health.

The launch comes six months after Virgo Health joined the GolinHarris communications network and aims to provide clients with a cross-sector approach to digital healthcare marketing.

The practice has an in-house team of 25, comprising strategists and planners, art directors, designers, html/Flash authors, programmers, videographers, community managers and writers.

“We are no doubt seeing a boom in consumer engagement in digital health but as consumers become more accustomed to digital, they will demand more customisation,” said Emily Brooks, practice lead at Go Digital Health.

“In many ways we are already at the point of health app and information overload – something our survey participants picked up as one of the biggest frustrations with information online – so ensuring cut-through requires a smart approach.”

Among the marketing capabilities the initiative has on offer are: design, video, green-screen filming, mode-of-action, 3D and 2D animation, websites, html, Flash, apps (including mobile), Facebook content plans, community management, corporate social media strategy, search marketing and virtual interactions.

Jon Meggitt, head of innovation at Go Digital Health, said: “For us it’s about using technology innovatively to create meaningful connections in health – connecting the right people with the right information, based on deep consumer-centric, health-enriched insights.”
