Frontera wins at IPA Best of Health 2016

London, 19 December 2016

Frontera London has taken home a prestigious Silver award at the IPA Best of Health Show this year, as well as being a finalist for the Pip award for young creative talent.

The Silver was awarded for ‘Breathing is everything’, an interactive video created for healthcare professionals that offers a live-action experience of what COPD patients go through on a daily basis. Shot in the first person, the user is put in the patients’ shoes and essentially sees and experiences everything through their eyes. ‘Breathing is everything’ was developed for Boehringer Ingelheim and was awarded in the Digital and Interactive category for healthcare professionals.

For the Pip award, which aimed to promote the work of the Elimination of Leukaemia Fund (ELF) Mind and Body Service, Frontera was awarded for the ‘White Cell’. This art installation allows those affected by blood cancer to let out their hidden thoughts and see how the ELF Mind and Body Service is able to support them.

“We are delighted to have been successful with our work with Boehringer Ingelheim, where we were able capitalise on interactive technology,” said Craig Mills, Group Managing Director of Frontera London. “But it was particularly inspiring to see the success of our young creative and planning talent in the Pip award.”
