Pegasus, an Ashfield company, part of UDG Healthcare
plc, is delighted to have been crowned Specialist Consultancy of the Year at
this week’s prestigious PR Week Awards. The accolade tops a trio of big award
wins in 2016 for Pegasus, an integrated healthcare communications consultancy
with a mission to ‘inspire healthy decisions’.
The PR Week Award judges said of Pegasus, it is “a very
capable agency pulling amazing growth figures while doing really creative work
for clients.” The judging panel also recognised the power of its integrated
approach, blending insight and strategic planning around behaviour change, with
a broad mix of creative, social and digital services, alongside influencer and
media relations.
Pegasus’ winning awards season started in Berlin in
June where it picked up the notable title of EMEA Healthcare PR
Consultancy of the Year at the Sabre Awards, organised by The Holmes Report.
The judges recognised the agency’s “exceptional integrated offer, their pace of
growth and an investment in people and skills”. In July, the agency added the
esteemed Consultancy of the Year award to its honors at the 2016 Communiqué
Awards in London with judges saying its “winning combination of style and
substance, meant that they really stood out to the judges as a worthy winner.”
Simon Hackett, Managing Director at Pegasus,
commented: “We are delighted that our ‘health first, sector second’ approach, continued
passion, and unique integrated offering is not only delivering results for our
clients but also being recognised at such a high level across the industry. This
latest recognition from PR Week has rounded off a highly successful year so far
for Pegasus and we are proud of what our team continue to achieve for our
clients.”
Pegasus has also been shortlisted for the PRCA
Specialist Consultancy of the Year award, being announced in November 2016.
Pegasus was acquired by UDG Healthcare plc in April
2016 and has joined Ashfield Healthcare Communications, part of the Ashfield
