Pegasus was also highly commended in the NHS Communications Team category
Pegasus, an Ashfield company, part of UDG Healthcare plc, is delighted to have won the Communications Team - Charity Challenge award at the 2018 PharmaTimes communications team of the year competition.
The PharmaTimes Communications Team of the Year competition provides the opportunity for agencies to demonstrate their competencies and skills as an agency in front of senior level, experienced pharma marketing and communications professionals. Pegasus entered two categories and had two hours to develop responses to two complex, hypothetical scenarios.
Pegasus won the Charity Challenge for their proposed campaign for a hypothetical brief for Bowel Cancer UK. Chris Webb, Amanda Azeez, Karl Kasparis, Francesca Knee-Wright, Dan Rowland from the Consumer Health and Creative teams at Pegasus worked together in the limited timeframe to develop a campaign on a lean budget, that would engage friends and family of those diagnosed with bowel cancer, and support Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.
Amanda Azeez, Associate Director in our Consumer Health team said of the experience, “It was a fantastic experience. During the journey home, we reflected on how much can be achieved in just in two hours, if you are disciplined and have the right people in the room. Personally, I felt privileged to be given the chance to share our insights and ideas, which will hopefully benefit Bowel Cancer UK in the future.”
Pegasus was also highly commended for its entry into the NHS challenge for the team’s response to bringing a new product to market.
The news comes in the same week that Pegasus scooped its 18th award for its ‘Small Talk Saves Lives’ campaign at the PRCA awards, in addition to winning Specialist Consultancy of the Year award for the third year running.
