Pegasus, the UK’s leading
independent health communications consultancy, added three awards to its 2014
portfolio at last weekend’s AMEC
International Summit 2014 in Amsterdam.
Pegasus won gold for ‘Best Use of a Research Measurement and Evaluation
Programme’ in recognition of its drive for best practice and two further Gold
awards for a client campaign for Bio-Oil.
AMEC is the ‘International Association for Measurement and
Evaluation of Communication’, a global trade body and professional institute
for agencies and practitioners. AMEC currently has more than 120 members in 41
countries worldwide and is regarded as an international mark of excellence in
the provision of media evaluation and communication research services to
clients.
Associate Director Chris Webb,
who has spearheaded the measurement best practice drive at Pegasus said; “Our company
mission is to ‘Inspire healthy decisions’, a purpose that is grounded in
behaviour change. To stay true to this we need to measure the tangible impact
that our work is achieving. Whilst
efforts have always been made to ensure best practice in the area of
measurement, at the start of last year we made the decision to make a renewed
drive and investment in the pursuit of excellence in this area.
We set out to become known
and respected as one of the best communications consultancies in the world when
it comes to measurement and this award win is a reassuring sign that we’re on
the right track.
Pegasus also won two gold
awards for its client campaign for Bio-Oil (Skin Stories) in the category ‘Best
Use of Communication Management’: Business-to-Consumer; and ‘Best Use of Social
Media Measurement’.
