It’s Teenage Kicks for Lucid Group

Lucid has been celebrating its 13th birthday this week. From New York to Singapore, Dubai, Macclesfield and London, teams have been gathering to celebrate the start of its teenage years.

The teen years are a period of intense growth, and this looks to be no different in business terms. Lucid Group has already evolved into a global leader of medical communications, providing its scientific leadership and approaches to many of its clients who have been with them since the start.

Over the last year, Lucid Group has added to its suite of capabilities with the acquisition of two businesses: Bluedog, bringing digital and creative expertise; and HealthCare21, which has increased Lucid’s footprint into Asia Pacific, Africa and Middle East region, and the north west of England, coupled with its highly regarded reputation for scientific content, editorial excellence and digital capability, including reusable tools.

So, what will the teenage years bring? As would be typical for teenagers: more growth! As the organisation looks to continue its expansion through acquisition and capability development from within – alongside establishing Centres of Excellence (watch this space) – to completely overhauling its learning and development offering, Lucid is serious about continuing its reputation for being pioneers in the MedComms space.

Dennis O’Brien, Lucid Group CEO and co-founder commented, “After thirteen years we continue to drive an exciting organisation forward. We have an amazing team of talented individuals, supported by experienced leaders who share the same vision and passion for transforming lives for the better. For patients. For clients. For partners. For our colleagues and teams.”
