Leading Edge bolsters its delivery team

After earlier announcements that Lucid Partners was growing its medical writing team, Leading Edge (a Lucid Group company) proudly announces that it is strengthening its delivery team.

Francesca Worthington joined Leading Edge as an account manager at the beginning of June. Francesca has been working in medical communications for the past 4 years and has worked across a variety of medical communication programmes and in a number of therapy areas, including haematology, ophthalmology, cardiovascular disease and neuroscience. “I enjoy working with both patients and healthcare professionals, to really get to understand their challenges and provide solutions that ultimately lead to improved outcomes”, she says. “Lucid are recognised everywhere as innovators in medical communications and the entrepreneurial feel of the Leading Edge team really excited me.”

Lucy Coles, a new programme director, says: “I love the challenge of getting to grips with new therapy areas, new products and new ways of meeting clients’ needs.” She joined Leading Edge in mid-June. She has been working in medical communications for 15 years, where she started as a medical writer, but later shifted her focus to team leadership and programme direction. “The thing that attracted me to Lucid was the focus on really making a difference to patients’ lives,” says Lucy.

A warm welcome to Lucy and Francesca!
