Lighthouse Medical Communications US makes the list of finalists for the 2018 PM360 Trailblalzer Awards

- PMLiVE

Lighthouse Medical Communications US, part of the award-winning Lucid Group of companies, is delighted to announce that their ACT on Anemia campaign, developed in collaboration with the American Kidney Fund, has been named as a PM360 2018 Trailblazer Initiative Award Finalist for Best Patient/Consumer Education.

This exciting news is a true testament to the American Kidney Fund’s commitment to improving the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease.  ACT on Anemia was one of a small number of campaigns selected in its category. Finalists were selected by the PM360 Editorial Advisory Board, which is comprised of some of the most forward-thinking leaders in their respective fields. Entries are judged on: ability to overcome challenges; skill, innovation, and quality of planning and execution; and the effectiveness of the work.

ACT on Anemia – Anemia in Chronic Kidney Disease, is a multi-channel patient campaign, designed to help tackle the issue of anemia in patients with kidney disease by encouraging Awareness, Communication and Treatment. The campaign has already touched hundreds of thousands of lives via multiple on and off-line patient resources and tools, which has been complimented with an outreach medical education programme for healthcare professionals.

Ify Onyeaso, Business Unit Director, Lighthouse Medical Communications US, commented, “We are thrilled our campaign ACT on Anemia has been recognized by such a prestigious panel of Judges. At Lighthouse, we have a talent for working together with our clients to build the best and transform the lives of those we touch. Our passion, drive and collaborative approach enables us to create magical campaigns. Working with the American Kidney Fund to develop ACT on Anemia is a great example of this.”

This year’s awards will be announced at a gala on September 13th at Gotham Hall, New York City. The winners will be featured in the October issue of the magazine.
