Lucid Group ‘Moves up’ at its spellbinding annual summer meeting

- PMLiVE

Lucid Group celebrated summer in style last week with its annual summer meeting. Lucidians from across the country descended on Lucid Towers for a spellbinding meeting centred on mental wellbeing. This meeting was particularly poignant as was to be the last summer meeting at iconic Lucid Towers − Lucid HQ for the last 12 years − as the teams prepare to move into new offices.

The meeting kicked off in true Lucid style with an energising African drumming session, led by Creative Team Events. The company came together to experience the real power of teamwork as they learnt to drum, listen and react as one voice.

The day then flowed into a series of breakout sessions aimed at equipping everybody with methods to accelerate their personal development, strategies for dealing with tricky scenarios and a getting-to-know-you networking game. Time was also taken to reflect on the magic each team creates every day and to highlight the value each person brings.

Next up was Dennis O’Brien, CEO and co-founder of Lucid Group, who gave an inspirational speech on how the Lucid culture is evolving to reflect the phenomenal growth the company has experienced over the last few years – moving to Lucid 2.0! Jan Steele, COO and co-founder of Lucid Group, finished off the day celebrating the recent Communiqué wins – Medical Consultancy of the Year and Excellence in Professional Education Programmes – followed by the big reveal! This was the news everyone had been waiting to hear: where will Lucid’s new home be? Watch this space!

After the formal meeting ended, the Lucid teams gathered with their families, partners and friends in the grounds of Lucid Towers for a glorious garden party.

Lucid SPIRIT, Lucid’s charity working group, held a raffle, raising over £400 for Lucid’s charity partner Wycombe Homeless Connection (WHC). WHC is a local charity dedicated to transforming the lives of people who are homeless in and around High Wycombe. If you would like to learn more about WHC check out this short video here.

A truly magical day was had by all!
