You may have seen our advert in the last issue of PME and we are pleased to announce that Ophthalmology in practice has launched! Ophthalmology in practice is a brand new member of Hayward’s highly regarded ‘… in practice’ series of journal.
Visual impairment, one of the most feared disabilities worldwide, is estimated to affect about 2.5 million people aged over 65 in England and Wales alone. Ophthalmology in practice has been developed as a go-to resource to help support and educate healthcare professionals in the eye care field.
Articles will appeal to the entire multidisciplinary team, from consultant ophthalmologist to ophthalmic nurse, and pharmacist to technician, with a focus on best clinical practice, clinical updates, treatment options and training. Ophthalmology in practice will also feature case studies, patient viewpoints, and service development and guidance updates.
Hayward is particularly pleased that the journal features regular columns from the International Glaucoma Association (IGA) and the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Ophthalmology in practice is a free resource for healthcare professionals in the UK. To sign up for your free copy, please visit: www.ophthalmologyinpractice.co.uk.
