Call for industry innovators to join working group

The IBD Registry is calling for industry stakeholders with a flair for innovation and collaboration to join its Industry Working Group.

Following our recent success at the Communiqué Awards, the IBD Registry is calling for industry stakeholders with a flair for innovation and collaboration to join its Industry Working Group.

The group was set up in 2016 with the goal of improving outcomes for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It brings the complementary skills and experience of senior people working in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries (with a specialism in IBD) into a collaborative working
structure with the Registry’s clinical team.

Applications are invited from industry stakeholders with expertise in:

- health outcomes
- marketing and communications
- strategic planning and business development
- compliance and regulation
- clinical research
- change management
- clinical commissioning
- market access

The group membership aims to reflect the current range of treatment agents in the therapy area as far as possible.

The Registry is also delighted to announce that it will host this year’s Industry Forum on 17th November 2021. The forum is an eagerly anticipated annual event for companies with an interest in IBD, and will take place online, with one-to-one follow-up meetings available either online or in
London. Join us to explore our data in detail and see how it can be used to benefit people with IBD, with three main themes:

- All about our data - a look 'under the hood'
- Putting the data to work - supporting clinicians and patients
- From data to knowledge – enabling studies and research

About the IBD Registry:

The purpose of the IBD Registry is to improve the health of people living with inflammatory bowel disease in the UK by the collection and analysis of data to increase understanding of the care of people with IBD and their treatments and to facilitate research.

We do this by collecting and analysing data from IBD patients nationally. Working with over 175 hospitals in the UK and with over 80,000 patient-level records, we are one of the largest IBD registries in Europe
