Essential collaboration skills training for pharma and healthcare teams launched by Dovetail.

Specialist healthcare consultancy Dovetail launches new collaboration skills training in response to client demand.

Specialist healthcare consultancy Dovetail is delighted to announce the launch of its new collaboration skills training. Developed in response to client demand, the new workshops will equip teams to get the best out of collaborative working so that projects deliver the desired results for companies, clinicians and patients.

The training will enhance the skills of industry professionals at all levels, in fields including medical, marketing, value and access, partnership development, as well as cross-functional teams.

Dovetail Founder and Director Claire Munro said: “Now more than ever, clinicians and healthcare organisations want partnership from industry, but far too often, joint projects stall or fail to meet expectations. The good news is that that the principles and practices of effective collaboration can be learned, and our new workshops are a great way for teams to build their skills and capability in tailored, participatory sessions.”

Bolstering the Dovetail team in the new venture is Colin Love, who joins Dovetail as Collaboration Coach, bringing considerable experience from his 40 years in the biopharmaceutical industry, where he held various senior positions in sales, marketing and general management. He held senior global business development and partnership management roles at Quintiles, the world’s leading biopharmaceutical services company, and was responsible for crafting collaborative commercial solutions for international companies. Latterly he was responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Colin commented: “So much value can be gained by working collaboratively with stakeholders and customers, but partnerships need to be set up and planned for success. By combining my experience of building alliances with Dovetail’s understanding of how to get the best from the teams they work with, we have developed practical, hands-on effective training sessions that help teams get results through collaborative working.”
