Iron deficiency anaemia is very common in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and can seriously reduce people’s quality of life, but it’s often under-treated.
Iron deficiency anaemia is very common in inflammatory bowel disease
(IBD) and can seriously reduce people’s quality of life, but it’s often
under-treated. We set up a joint working project between Pharmacosmos
and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) to look at a sample of
patients across the country and find out more about routine clinical
practice.
The partners share resources and skills and the project is the first
to use the IBD Registry web tool to collect information for a study.
