emotive client Adam Boucher of Novo Nordisk announced as a finalist for Digital Pioneer at the 2014 PM Digital Awards

emotive is delighted to announced that our client Adam Boucher, our nomination for the 2014 Digital Pioneer award at the PM Digital Awards has been shortlisted as a finalist.

emotive is delighted to announced that Adam Boucher, our nomination for the 2014 Digital Pioneer award has been shortlisted as a finalist. All seven entries by emotive in this year’s awards have now made it through as shortlisted finalists, an unprecedented event.

DIGITAL PIONEER AWARD

The Digital Pioneer award will be presented to an individual currently working in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries who has really pushed the boundaries of digital communication in the environment in which they work.

emotive is very excited about Adam being shortlisted for the award as the Novo Nordisk projects Decisions in Time and Diabetes Voyager that he worked with emotive on have most certainly pushed the digital boundaries within the healthcare industry.

Already a 2014 Communiqué Award winner for Innovation in Healthcare Communications, Decisions In Time was a series of interactive workshops held for HCPs to facilitate a deeper understanding of diabetes management. Combining multiple digital elements including a Prezi presentation, virtual mannequins and an iOS iPad app with key messenger function it simulated clinical patient case studies and enabled high levels of interaction between delegates and the facilitators.

The success of this project, led to Novo Nordisk commissioning another educational initiative, Diabetes Voyager (DV). DV is a fully immersive virtual reality experience designed to communicate the importance of a balanced treatment approach, and was hosted on Novo Nordisk’s booth at Diabetes UK. emotive’s planning and development teams conceptualised and executed the experience utilising state-of-the art Oculus Rift VR and Xbox Kinect technology, the first of its kind to be used in a healthcare setting anywhere in the world.
