Medscape Education: An ESC to Remember

September 13, 2022 | Medscape, cardiology, medical education

ESC 2022 is now a wrap! The Medscape team was on site with a booth on the exhibit floor, educational symposia, and a Tapas and Trends event where faculty shared key highlights of the conference. This year, ESC had a special focus on heart failure.

Medscape held 4 symposia, attended by hundreds of physicians. Jelena Spyropoulos, Medscape Cardiology Team Lead, Sales and Clinical Strategy, said “ESC is the largest European meeting of cardiologists and heartcare professionals, and was a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with practicing clinicians. The faculty discussed the latest advances and late-breaking data presented at the ESC conference and their implication to clinical care. We were honored to be a part of such a great meeting and look forward to next year.”

The Tapas and Trends event was an opportunity for the supporters  of Medscape Education to come together in person and learn from members of the Medscape cardiology faculty, including Keith A. A. Fox, James L. Januzzi, Lale Tokgozoglu, and Ileana L. Piña. More than 70 people took part in the lively discussion, which we’ll be reporting on shortly with a video and article highlighting the key takeaways from the event.

Medscape is a leader in cardiology education for clinicians. More educational activities can be found on Medscape.org/cardiology HERE.
