The Pharmaceutical Market Excellence Awards (PMEA) have announced that Medscape Medical Affairs is a finalist in their 2022 awards for their entry Transatlantic Exchanges: Driving Therapeutic Innovation in Oncology for the Benefit of Patients in the following three categories:
The entry describes the collaboration between L’Institut Servier, Gustave Roussy (Villejuif, France), Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Boston, USA), and Medscape Medical Affairs to establish a global community of innovators across oncology, committed to accelerating new frontiers of clinical research by exploring all facets of care to realise a world where cancer is a curable disease.
The programme leveraged a multichannel engagement strategy, faculty-led sessions focused on the latest research advances in oncology, and a delegate engagement hub (leveraging Medscape LIVE) uniting live and on-demand content in a flexible experience respecting all time zones.
Christina Hoffman, Global Head of Medscape Medical Affairs, commented, “We are thrilled our programme has been shortlisted for award consideration. We are committed to advancing the care of cancer patients, and the Transatlantic Exchanges were groundbreaking in many ways. There is an enduring need to support clinical researchers in translational medicine to learn from one another and connect and collaborate to find new ways to end cancer.”
Winners will be announced 23 November 2022 during the awards ceremony at Sheraton Grand, London Park Lane.
