90TEN today announced that Clare Cook has joined the consultancy’s communications division as an Associate Director. Clare comes to 90TEN from Public Health England’s National Infection Service where she was a Senior Communications Manager. In this role Clare delivered high profile initiatives to improve the nation’s health, including championing responsible antibiotics use, protecting against STIs and boosting rates of childhood immunisation. As well as managing the service’s media relations team, she was also responsible for rapidly responding to infection outbreaks using a multi-channel approach to inform the public how to protect themselves.
“Clare has worked on some of the biggest public health campaigns in the UK. She has a fantastic track record of using the power of communications to help people make healthier choices,” said Peter Impey, Managing Director of 90TEN Communications. “She is a talented media strategist with a flair for understanding what makes audiences tick and we are excited to bring her thinking to our clients.”
Prior to joining Public Health England, Clare worked on UK and global healthcare communications programmes at Golin Health, Ketchum and Porter Novelli. She joins 90TEN shortly after the agency was named Communiqué Communications Consultancy of the Year for 2019.
