Coming up soon – the first post-pandemic, real life, (COVID-friendly) awards ceremony that we have attended in a very long time! Communiqué 2021 is set to be a long anticipated informal reunion and more importantly an occasion to recognise, reward and commend excellence and best practice in healthcare communications.
The Aurora team attending is dusting off their DJs, dresses and dance moves because we are thrilled to be finalists in three categories at this year’s awards.
We are very proud that our CEO Claire Eldridge is shortlisted for Healthcare Communications Leader. This category recognises the outstanding leaders working within healthcare communications today – and we know first hand that she is one!
In the Excellence in Healthcare Partnerships category, working with Bristol Myers Squibb, our team developed a Back-to-Work Guide in partnership with people who have directly experienced, and overcome, the challenges of head and neck cancer. This cancer and its treatment can have life-changing consequences for patients’ appearance and ability to communicate, as well as mental health.
Fighting Failure: Reprioritising Heart Failure Care in the UK with Novartis is a finalist in Excellence in Patient Programmes. The campaign created practical resources for the heart failure (HF) community and a spirit to help motivate those dealing with the disease’s challenges to seek improvement.
To hear more about either of these programmes of work or more about us and all the work we do, please do get in touch.
We wish everyone nominated the very best of luck, there is such great work going on within our industry, and hope that everyone has a great, safe evening together!
