Lucid Group adds more magic to the mix with four new hires

Leading Edge, a Lucid Group company, injects new talent into its client services and medical writing teams. Miranda Harrison joins the team as its Client Operations Director. Miranda is a medical affairs specialist and client services lead with 18 years of experience across both pharma and agency roles. She has worked on a spectrum of medical education projects, using both digital and traditional platforms. She comments, “I’m excited to become part of an organisation with such a focus and passion for driving change in healthcare.”

With over eight years’ experience in medical communications, Betty Onimoe joins Leading Edge as Account Director. Betty has worked on a wide variety of medical education initiatives in various therapeutic areas including immuno-oncology, infectious diseases, transplantation and multiple sclerosis. Betty commented, “I have not been more excited to be part of a team who have a legacy of being pioneers in the MedComms space. The culture is fantastic — people truly care for one another, are nurtured and can be the best version of themselves!”

Megan Downey has three years’ experience in medical communications and has joined the Leading Edge team as an Account Manager. Megan has experience in cardiology, vaccines, dermatology and oncology. With a BSc and MSc in Psychology, she is passionate about the use of behaviour change to improve patient outcomes. Megan comments, “I’m so excited to join Leading Edge and to be a part of the ever-growing Lucid family. Lucid is a fantastic environment to learn in, and the team’s drive and ambition to truly make a difference for healthcare professionals and patients are motivating and inspiring.”

With two years of medical communications experience, Katherine Weight joins Leading Edge as a medical writer. Katherine has a background in oncology, neurology, metabolic disorders and genetic diseases. She comments “I am excited to hone my creative and strategic skills among the best, whilst contributing to innovative projects that will benefit patients.”
