Lucid Group kick off their Winter Festival

- PMLiVE
The start of December not only signalled the official calendar countdown to Christmas, but also marked the official launch of the Lucid Winter Festival, which culminates in the Winter Summit on 15 December at a (currently) secret location.

2016 has been such a tremendous year for Lucid that Jan Steele (Lucid Co-founder and COO) and Dennis O’Brien (Lucid Co-founder and CEO) wanted to do something extra special for their team to make sure that everybody feels appreciated for all the hard work delivered this year.

In preparation for the Winter Summit, everyone got together to devise their own #LucidLife stanzas to represent what it is they each get out of working at Lucid. Afterwards, people volunteered to do some cocktail tasting and vote on what cocktails would be served at the meeting on 15 December. The venue for the Winter Summit is being kept top secret until next week… although everyone will be receiving little clues on their desks each week in the run up to the event.

Jan Steele commented “2016 has been a strong year for Lucid Group as a whole and we want everyone who has contributed towards this success to feel appreciated. Consequently, in the run up to the Winter Festival, we have also been providing the teams with little treats. These have ranged from afternoon teas to platters of fruit, from beauty treatments to haircuts, and even car valets. Our employees are our biggest asset. If we want to continue making a difference with medical education, it is vital that we provide an environment where people enjoy coming in everyday, and know they can find the right work–life balance.”

It certainly looks like December is going to be good mix of work and play for everyone at Lucid Group! Watch this space for information on what the 15 December will bring.
