TVF Communications, a global
healthcare communications agency based in heart of London, is thrilled to
announce that we have been shortlisted for the ‘Writing Excellence– Digital/ Online Content’ category’
for the second year in a row. This category showcases the best of our abilities,
especially highlighting the manner in which we clearly explain science to ‘hit the heart of the intended audience’.
We created an eLearning Programme that was initiated to educate
internal AbbVie stakeholders on hepatitis C virus (HCV). The programmes made
use of our patented, Patient Pathway,
to provide an alternative learning flow and submerge the learner into the lives
of two fictional characters. The fine
blend between scientific content and the personal journey of typical HCV patients
means the user approaches the learning process with deeper insight. The learner
is guided through a series of phases from life before the illness all the way
through to treatment options, focusing on the difficulties encountered by the
patient at each stage and the options available with regard to treatment.
Primarily used by AbbVie Sales Representatives, the tool is
designed to suit a diverse range of scientific background knowledge; providing
them with an accurate understanding of the HCV disease and therapy area
environment. A primary aim was to overcome the challenges associated with lack
of early diagnosis, patient access, availability of treatment and patient
stigma, which in partnership with AbbVie was made possible.
Kathryn Bennett, Managing Director of TVF, commented: “We are delighted once again to be recognised
in partnership with AbbVie to have delivered esteemed learning, which has
revolutionised the internal training process.
Our team has gone through great efforts in conveying the true message of
AbbVie in an interactive yet fun learning programme. And thus, this award
emphasises the core beliefs by which we stand at TVF. Good luck to all the
agencies!”
