TVF Communications; an independent, global healthcare
communications agency, has been shortlisted for the Writing Excellence – Digital / Online Content Award at this year’s Communique event. This category recognises the need for ‘clear, brave and accurate writing which explains the science in an
engaging manner and really hits the heart of the intended audience’.
This training initiative involved launching both nurses and internal
AbbVie stakeholders into the world of the typical Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) patient;
in order to create a compelling story to support positive change of behaviour
within the clinical landscape for this rare and devastating disease. The
training was delivered through a highly interactive eLearning programme,
forming part of a blended and innovative approach to learning. It equipped
nurses with the ability to make educated decisions on the patient’s treatment
pathway, and internal stakeholders with the tools to discuss viable treatment
options with HCPs.
Kathryn Bennett, Managing Director of TVF, commented: “
We
are delighted to be recognised for our partnership with AbbVie on this project,
and the feedback received so far wholeheartedly supports our goal of improving
the lives of HS patients. It is a real reflection of the care, effort and time
put in by our incredibly talented team. The award also aligns with two of our
key strengths – creating on-point, targeted content, and developing innovative programmes
that communicate that content effectively. We are very much looking forard to the ceremony on 7th July!”
