OPEN Health Medical Communications is awarded Medical Affairs Agency of The Year at the Communiqué Awards 2020

July 7, 2020 |

We are delighted to announce that OPEN Health Medical Communications was named Medical Affairs Agency of the Year at the virtual 2020 Communiqué Awards ceremony on 02 July 2020.

- PMLiVE

The Communiqué judges commented “OPEN is clearly ambitious and focussed on evolving their Medical Affairs expertise. The judges found them to be a cohesive team with strong culture and ethos which is positively driving growth and excellent work. Despite some big business challenges and change, OPEN demonstrated that they put people first and were training focussed. This not only meant that their talent base remained strong, but also help to ensure they stayed ahead in Medical Affairs.”

Speaking to Rob Barker, CEO, OPEN Health Medical Communications and Patient & Brand Communications, “I am delighted and very proud of the outstanding OPEN Health Medical Communications team for winning ‘Medical Affairs Agency of the Year’ at the Communiqué Awards. The guidance for the submission was ‘Emphasis should be placed on the agency’s achievements within the period covered by this year’s awards.’ This was relatively straight forward as OPEN Health Medical Communications has consistently delivered around 30% year-on-year growth for the past 5 years. However, our submission focussed on what made that growth possible and that is the wonderful people within the business, and this award is in recognition of their outstanding efforts, well done to one and all, an amazing achievement. OPEN Health Medical Communications continues its growth despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and we will continue to develop and support our staff as we grow both geographically as well as financially.”

David Rowley, CEO, OPEN Health said “To receive accolades and awards recognising the quality of our work and people is always welcome. Our Medical Communications practice has steadily and consistently built a world-class reputation, resulting in a growing client base across the globe; ultimately it is down to the quality, focus and sheer hard work of our people—thank you!”

There is a higher than ever need for Medical Affairs teams to work with multidisciplinary agency partners. At OPEN Health, our suite of services is aimed at identifying and addressing evidence gaps and delivering world-class communications.
