Evoke, the global brand, experience, and communications platform, purpose-built to make health more human™, has strengthened its European leadership with the announcement of three strategic senior promotions. With 1,400 people globally and over 400 in Europe, Evoke is one of most substantial players in healthcare policy, marketing and communications in the region.

Corrina Safeio has been promoted to Group MD, taking on leadership of Evoke London

Corrina’s promotion comes off the back of a successful 18 months leading the UK Evoke Mind+Matter team which has delivered double-digit growth and landed over 25 new client wins this year.

Corrina’s new role as Group MD will see her taking on responsibility for the success of Evoke London, alongside Evoke Mind+Matter UK. Her focus will be on the growth and alignment of the two speciality agencies to build the best teams and solutions for local, European and global clients. This integrated approach is a key part of the Evoke platform strategy, enabling clients to access the best people wherever they sit globally, and supports the objective of building the most inclusive, empathetic and meaningful experiences for HCPs, patients and consumers – all critical for realising Evoke’s purpose to ‘make health more human™’.

Corrina will continue to report into Ben Beckley, President, Evoke Mind+Matter.

Amar Urhekar, Group President, Marketing, at Evoke commented:

“Europe is a key growth focus for Evoke and an important market for our clients, whether focusing on local markets or leading global marketing and communications strategies. Our clients want to be able to access the best talent frictionlessly, regardless of where they are in Evoke globally. As a tenacious leader with a track record in network agencies, client side and most recently leading the successful agency consolidation to launch Evoke Mind+Matter in the UK, Corrina is a huge asset to have focusing on this.

“Investing in and developing visionary leaders is central to our people strategy, as they are the ones that attract and retain the best talent in the industry. People like Corrina make us better partners and demonstrates the opportunities the Evoke platform provides as a ‘must have’ career destination. I look forward to seeing Evoke London and Evoke Mind+Matter UK work with clients to make health more human™ under Corrina’s leadership.”

Lee Wales has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director at Evoke Mind+Matter UK

Following an exceptional year successfully leading some of the agency’s largest clients, former Client Partnership Director at Evoke Mind+Matter UK, Lee Wales, steps up into the newly created Deputy Managing Director role, and will support Corrina in overseeing Evoke Mind+Matter UK.  Lee’s responsibilities will include oversight of the agency’s client service strategy and operational excellence to deliver ambitious growth.

Holly Ford has been promoted to Head of Consumer Communications at Evoke Mind+Matter UK

In line with Evoke’s strategy to invest in DTC, Holly’s promotion will see her move from Associate Director to overseeing the agency’s consumer health and wellness communications portfolio. Holly’s experience is perfectly placed to lead continued development of the agency’s consumer comms capabilities and also share behavioural insights across the agency’s other client teams.

Corrina adds:

“The UK market is home to some of the best strategic thinking and creativity in the world. By bringing Evoke London and Evoke Mind+Matter UK closer – and thanks to the wider Evoke platform – we are going to have some of the best talent there is working together to deliver meaningful results for our clients, and our business. With the support of Lee and Holly in their new roles, we’ve got all the pieces in place to make 2023 a transformative year for Evoke and our clients.”
