The Specials Laboratory

The Specials lab manufactures and supplies Specials drug tariff and non-tariffed unlicensed medicines (commonly known as ‘specials’) to community Pharmacists, Doctors, Vet Surgeons and Hospitals – within 24 hours. We provide hospitals with a space and time saving over labelling service, which involves the bespoke design and labelling of medicines. Once set-up, we store your over labelled products and deliver what you want, when you want – again, within 24 hours. And for hospitals, we also offer investigational medicinal product (IMP) manufacturing from our MHRA-licensed sites so we can meet the supply needs of hospital-based clinical trials.
