AGENCY STATEMENT
A full-service, integrated creative communications agency that covers all channels and media, so we can select the mix that will best serve your needs. Our starting point is your customers; who they are, what they need, and where they look for it. Our expertise is in healthcare communications.

- Agency description
Life Healthcare Communications is a full-service creative communications agency, dedicated to healthcare and wellness. We provide a comprehensive range of services, from brand development and strategic marketing, to tactical campaign implementation, using all channels and elements of the marketing mix. We are based in the UK, but work with clients on a local, regional, EU or global basis. We have a deep knowledge of the healthcare market gained from decades of collective experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing and advertising.
In other words, Life offers similar services and capabilities to many other healthcare agencies. But what sets us apart?
We are independent
The first point of difference is that Life is independent, in the fullest sense of the word. Because we are not owned by another company, or part of an agency network, we are not bound by a fixed way of doing things. This gives us the flexibility to work with each client on an individual basis, providing solutions that are uniquely tailored for them. And because we are answerable only to the client, we are free to focus on quality rather than quantity.
We look deeper for the source of your strategy
The second difference is our strategic approach. Instead of reaching for off-the-shelf strategic solutions, we use our Belief Engineering model to uncover deep insights about your brand and customers, analyse the beliefs that drive their behaviour, and use this information to develop creative brand solutions to deliver your marketing goals.
We believe in the power of storytelling
The most important factor that distinguishes Life from other healthcare agencies is that we apply the power of storytelling in our creative approach.
Storytelling is a proven way to make communications more meaningful and memorable. A powerful narrative can engage the emotions and change beliefs and behaviour - particularly with healthcare brands, which have huge emotional capital as they can have a profound impact on people’s lives.
Why is storytelling important in healthcare?
Medicine communicates through real-life stories, in the form of case studies, patient histories and anecdotal reports
- A powerful story can capture and hold attention
- It helps you connect with your audience
- It gives your brand a personality and a human voice
- It expresses the purpose behind your brand
- It can be retold, passed on and shared with others
Our brand of storytelling isn’t about fairytales, or turning facts into fiction. It’s about finding a hidden truth about your brand and presenting it through the lens of a narrative. Once you have your story, it can be told and retold in many ways - through print, social and digital media and PR, through your salesforce, and by your internal stakeholders.
Finally, we love what we do - helping clients deliver better health to patients. So, our success is not measured by what we do, but by how we do it, and why we do it.
