PMEA 2015 now open for entry

The pharma programme recognises excellence in improving patient outcomes

PMEA Awards 2015The 2015 PMEA programme, which recognise pharma excellence in improving patient outcomes, is now open for entry.

The programme, run by PMLiVE publisher the PMGroup, is specifically designed to recognise and commend excellence, best practice and innovation in local, European and international markets.

Debbie Tuesley, PMGroup events manager, said: “Each year we update and review PMEA and 2015 is no exception, with all the categories being put through a thorough review process.

“The result is an awards programme that continues to identify and recognise the talented work undertaken by today’s pharmaceutical organisations to improve patient care and provide greater value for healthcare providers.”

The PMEA 2015 categories reflect current business practice of striving for customer and patient-centric education and support programmes; brand lifecycle excellence; and outstanding work.

Entries will be assessed by an experienced panel of experienced, independent industry judges from the likes of EY, Quintiles, Engage, PA Consulting, Cello Health Consultancy and PWC, as well as patient charity Whizz-Kidz.

Lisa McCurdy, associate director of haematology at Celgene, said: “The PMEA Awards are a sign of industry excellence. They are fantastic at looking at the bigger picture; recognising new ways of thinking that deliver value for patients, healthcare systems and society alike – values which Celgene strive to achieve.

“We were delighted to win at the 2014 PMEA Awards, recognising work that the team are proud of and that, crucially, improved access to much needed treatments for patients.”

PMEA 2015 will be open for entry until August 6 and the programme culminates in an awards event at the Lancaster London Hotel in the UK on November 25.
