Blue Latitude boosts senior management team

Elisa del Galdo joins as head of customer experience
Blue Latitude Elisa del Galdo

Elisa del Galdo has joined the strategic marketing agency Blue Latitude as head of customer experience.

Del Galdo has more than 20 years' experience in human factors, usability and user experience, and launched her own consultancy two years before joining Blue Latitude.

During her time as director of del Galdo Consulting, del Galdo worked with GSK & Ogilvy Common Health, Freesat, Thomson Reuters, Human Factors International, HomeAway, Sage, and Further on a variety of engagements.

Her previous positions include director of user experience at Flow Interactive and from 2005 to 2008, she was chief of technical staff EMEA at Human Factors International (Europe).

Regarding her new role, Blue Latitude said that del Galdo “hopes to be able to show marketers how the development of exceptional customer experiences will give them the chance to radically differentiate their brands from competitors”.

With expertise in user experience del Galdo believes that pharma companies are not truly embracing the customer's perspective. "Pharma needs to really understand customer needs and combine this with business goals to create a successful customer experience," she said.

Del Galdo has already started in her new role, reporting to Blue Latitude managing director Martin Brass.

"We're thrilled to have Elisa join us, she comes with a wealth of experience and passion for insights research, persuasive design, and product innovation,” he said.
