Everyday Health appoints PHCG president

Michael du Toit to take up same position

Digital health and wellness company Everyday Health has named Michael du Toit as its president.

Du Toit has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and consumer media and marketing and joins from Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG), where he served as global group president.

He has previously held executive roles at marketing agencies such as Digitas Health, where he was a founding member, Razorfish Health, Grey Advertising and Ventiv Health Communications.

Du Toit has additionally held senior marketing positions at pharma companies including GlaxoSmithKline and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Commenting on his appointment, du Toit said: “I am honoured to join Everyday Health and believe it has a unique set of capabilities and assets to win in the marketplace.

“I see great opportunities across the dynamic digital health landscape to further expand Everyday Health’s consumer and professional business and I am very excited to get started.”

In the newly created role, du Toit will be responsible for managing and directing the strategy for the consumer and professional business including product, editorial, sales and sales development.

He will also be expected to guide Everyday Health’s strategic direction and growth and ensure the company’s growth in the market.
