Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services (DAS) group of companies has hired PR veteran Emma Sergeant as president of its European business.
Sergeant will report to DAS chairman and CEO Dale Adams. The new role will see her cultivate relationships with clients, identify their needs, and connect them with appropriate DAS companies, which include the CDM Group, Ketchum, Interbrand and Rapp.
Sergeant has more than 30 years’ client, agency and marketing experience, and has been a judge for PMGroup’s Communiqué Awards for five years. She joins DAS from Ogilvy Healthworld, where she was managing director of global business.
“Emma’s insight and experience into fast emerging markets, multiple disciplines and company offerings will be invaluable to both our senior leadership team and our clients,” said Adams.
Sergeant said that she was excited to join DAS, referring to its “extraordinary talent and diversity of expertise”.
